2018

Starting with a passion for writing and a keen eye for writing screen plays and a strong vision, Neal "Raven" Simmons decided to help revive the independent scene in the filming, music and entertainment industry.

Starting with a few scripts, some of which have been featured in the British Broadcasting Company (BBC), Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube, Neal set out a 5 year plan to put together a team of like minded individuals and create an umbrella business.

​

The first stage was to collaborate with various companies and bring their skills under one place, one name which, after various name changes was eventually dubbed..

2020

This whole project was a long term plan and founded by two people: 

​​

Neal "Raven" Simmons: 

A creationist with an over exaggerated imagination, a script writer, actor and entrepreneur and a visionary.

 

Michael Wayans: 

A skilled photographer and cinematographer / videographer and editor. Michael has worked on many projects, many of which were also featured on YouTube, Amazon Prime and Netflix.

2021

We created our first short solo film for he use at festival, "Tier 4". which was with a huge thanks from an idea inspired by director and filmmaker Bazza Cash (Cash Star Films).

 

Unfortunately we ran into some production issues from the start, including some falling out with a co-production company at time.

This lead to sourness within our future plans!

(known as Target Films the time).

2022

Neal "Raven" Simmons found himself working on scripts, mostly independently but collaborating with other writers such as Daemon Lee and John Mohar (US) and Tom Luse. Neal worked mostly on writing script for profit but this wasn't substantial enough for long term income.

Michael Wayans also found an issue with making it a stable income but decided to push on with his amazing cinematography and photography work! He struggled against the odds and made friends / fell out with people but remained persistent!

2023

The rebuild of a new era! Yes this was when Target Films was rebranded as Creative Vision Studios and thus led to a climb in popularity. It wasn't until later 2023 when the promising lights of flourish was felt and the branded globe of Creative Vision Studios reign began! This led to the likes of Clare Almond working alongside Neal Simmons for a long term professional relationship in the industry!

We opened a small production studios in Wolverhampton, headed up by Michael Wayans, we collaborated with Danny Marty Studios in Epping!

We even started a small production company for social media in West Sussex!

​

We started to trial some series episodes, including a talk show with the amazingly talented Elizabeth Cooper and our very own beloved and talented Clare Almond, but this ran into a few production and creational issues

2024

This leads us to the current part of our 5 year plan!

We have now established an amazing team in East Sussex and are heading up some amazing project which have been sat in the CVS pipe line for sometime!

​

Our first major project which took some tweaking, adjusting and editing began in October 2024 and will continue to grow as we roll into 2025, this project is subsequently a continuation idea from  "The Eye of the Raven", but is now more a film series and no longer a talk show!

 

2025 will also feature the first filming of our comedy series "Acting Up".. More on this later!
