Neal "The Raven" Simmons

Neal is a multi-talented creative and visionary!

His career properly started back in 2019 at the start of the Covid Pandemic.

Neal spent time trapped in his home, like any others at the time, and decided to start writing about stories he had heard throughout his life. These eventually turned into short scripts and many of those scripts went on to become award winners in various festivals around the UK and Europe.​

Like most actors, Neal started his earlier work in 2005 when he was listed to play a news reporter in a film for a local Worthing filmmaker. He then was given a role as an Astronaut by the same filmmaker but the film was never finished due to funding.

​

Watching the industry collapse, Neal decided to follow in the footsteps of some of his childhood idols such as Stephen Spielberg and try to recreate films in a different way.

After realising he was more talented as a creationist and writer, Neal put together a team which went on to make several short films that were all entered into festivals, along with various other scripts that never got made.

​

Neal started working with some big names after the pandemic, such as Shane Senior, Clare Almond, Matt Sproit, Andy Bell, Julian Gamm, Bazza Cash and many others besides.

​

In early 2022, Neal decided to rebrand and relaunch Creative Vision Studios and make this a full time project whilst also making an extra income and supporting local communities as well as the global film market. He now has connections across the globe and has plans in the pipeline for work with names such as Tom Luse and John Mohar.
