Rob Hewitt

With over 15 year of filmmaking experience, Rob brings passion, creativity and technical expertise to every project.

He is a proud first-class honours graduate from the university of the West of England (UWE), in Bristol, and he was recognised by his tutors as a standout talent.

At his graduation showcase, Rob was honoured with the "Good Egg" award which was a true testament to his dedication, collaboration and excellence as a Director, D.o.P (Director of Photography), and Multifaced Filmmaker.

Rob loves this industry and thrives in making his craft the best of the best, and his portfolio shows just that as his ever growing list of operations, skills and development continues to advance overtime.

 

He has a whole array of experience and honours this craft throughout every project, from music videos, intendent filming, documentaries, all the way to captivating drama. His exceptional skills as an editor allow Rob to shape emotional depth, and show the true reality of what it takes to be truly skilled and motivated!

On set, Rob is known for his ability to connect, be approachable and open to listening to the needs of  his colleagues and his editing skills allows him to shape stories with precision, throwing as much emotion and vision into what he is doing, this allows him to foster collaboration and be at the front, guiding teams with  clarity and confidence.

As a filmmaker Rob prioritises artistry over ego, he strives to create meaningful and impactful visual narratives, he was born to play this role in a dying industry and bring life back to it's slow stopping heart! He thrives in the dynamic creative environment of film production, where his passion for story telling and motivation comes to life.
